Bubble Towing's Safety Trailer Training is designed to educate all clients on safety of your trailer, these course are in our own specialised vehicles.
The course covers the following modules:
Day 1
- Basic safety trailer safety
- maintenance of your trailer
- Safe loading and load dispersal of your trailer
- Un hitching and re hitching
- Vehicle weights
- Trailer weights
Day 2
- The law surrounding towing
- Highway code re-education on trailer towing
- Car and trailer combinations and the use of extended mirrors on combinations
- Basic safety maintenance of your trailer
- Safe loading and load dispersal of your trailer
- Height and unhitch techniques
- Understanding weights and the laws around them (GTW, MAM, UL)
- Security
- Vehicle and trailer braking,
- Judgement
- Planning
- Cornering
- Road positioning
- Lane discipline
- Safe practice in reversing
- Reversing situations
- Safe reversing in a straight line
- Reversing to the left and right
This course comes with a Certificate of successful completion of all modules to a high safe standard and you have been signed off as a safe and competent driver that has listened, and demonstrated key core elements to tow safely.

All bookings will be subject to an initial Administration charge of £10, marked as admin on invoice
**Towing courses start and finish at pre-selected locations, please ensure you refer to your invoice email for the exact locations' address.

Terms & conditions
- All training is provided at the times and dates stated on each invoice.
- Training location is identified within the email containing the invoice.
- All training is based on 3 hours (1 unit)
- Test date and training times once booked cannot be changed and any fees are non refundable. (Due to government test waiting times)
- We are not responsible if the DVSA cancels or changes a test date and time of your test.
- Once a course is offered and you confirm the dates and test, we will invoice you, and a 50% deposit of the course cost fee will be due immediately (this is non refundable, to secure your course)
- The instructor holds the right to refuse the use of car and trailer for test if the candidate is not at the required standard needed.
- We also hold the right to cancel your test if you are not ready and up to the necessary standard required for your test.
- Any course that is cancelled by the candidate inside 14days of the course commencing will not be entitled to any refund.
- Any course cancelled by the candidate outside of 14days of it commencing will only be entitled to a 50% refund of the full course fee that has been paid. If the course has not been paid in full, their will be Zero refund.
- Course's that are cancelled by the trainer due to trainee not having valid documentation, valid or no license, this is defined by photographic id, or disqualified driver will result in course being canceled and no refunds.
- Non payment of the 50% deposit within 24 hours of invoice being issued will result in course and test being re allocated) The balance is due 14 working days before training commences, any cancellation within this 14 day period will result in a lost deposit. Any course booked within 14 working days of training and test will require payment in full within 24 hours. all bookings will see a £25 admin fee in addition to course fee.
- Payment of course deposit, or full course fee is an automatic acknowledgement of the terms and conditions and a contractual agreement between candidate/payee and training provider.
- Any refunds issued will be subject to a reduction of £25.00 admin fee.
- Refunds can only be processed by the original payee. refunds can only be processed with the original invoice emailed back to the trainers office, and a call to the trainer from the original payee.
